The Assie Open: Belgian Day

I have to support my fellow countrymen and women. It is not bad for a country of only 10 million people to have 6 player within the table of a grand slam. If Justine Henin wouldn't have dropped out we would have 2 possible champions for the womens tournament.
Within the mens table we have some outsiders but I doubt that one of them can reach the semmies. I expect most from Malisse and Vliegen. Olivier Rochus has troubles with his back and a toe nail. Christophe Rochus probably will not survive the first round but if he surprises and Olivier confirms that they will meet each other in the second round.
The problem with Malisse is that you cannot trust him. He can be world class one day and the round after that he will not be capable of winning against number 200 and something. Everybody agrees that he has one of the finnest techniques of the tour but that's is only backed up with a semmi at Wimbledon and 2 ATP titles. He is now backup again by David Felgate, apparentely the only trainer who can control him.

The odds for the Belgian Players:
Guccione C (106) - Rochus O. (39) (Won)
Guccione is in the form of his life, while Olivier has some minor health problems. In length there is a difference of 40 centimeters! I still favour Olivier.
Rochus C. (74) - Grossjean C. (29) (Won)
No doubt that Grossjean will win this one. The oldest of the Rochus brothers retired last year but I guess I still wanted the easy money which he gets to be qualified for each first round of the 4 grand Slams.
Vliegen K. (37) - Hohlschreiber P. (61) (Lost)
A difficult one to predict. While Vliegen has an higher rank he does not proof this by results this year. Still I favour him because he want to show his progress to the world in a grand slam.
Malisse X. (30) - Clement A. (44) (Lost)
After winning his second ATP title Malisse took an extre week rest to prepare the Aussie Open. My money is on the Xman.
Clijsters K. (5) - Bardina (48) (1.02, 18)
While should win this easely I will not bet on this game cause the profit will be not enough.

My bets:
A single 2€ bet on Vliegen -> possible pay-out 3.32€ -> Lost
A single 1.50€ bet on Malisse -> possible pay-out 2.13€ -> Lost
A 1.50€ combo on Grossjean and Rochus O. -> possible pay-out 2.69€ -> won

Total at stake: 5€
Possible pay-out: 8.14€
Actual Pay-out: 2.69€ + pending Total profit/Loss: 2.31€
Total profit this month: 6.91€

So the first Grand Slam of the year. I guess that most of my readers only bet on football. Via Online Betting Guide you have an free chance to test your betting skills on Tennis.
